About this service

ElevenLabs' status covers text-to-speech, voice cloning, dubbing and voice agents. Under load, long generations are queued first, so short clips may still go through while long ones wait.

What should I do if ElevenLabs isn't generating audio?

Try a short sample of one or two sentences. If short clips work and long ones hang, the service is queueing work under load and the long jobs will catch up later. If nothing comes out at all, look at this page and at your remaining character quota before touching any settings.

Why does the voice sound distorted or different today?

A change in sound is rarely an outage. It usually comes from a new model version, voice settings such as stability, or unusual punctuation in the text. When many people notice it at once, it shows up here as a jump in reports.

Why does it work for others but not for me?

Quotas, plan limits and caps on parallel requests are set per account. Browser extensions can also block audio playback in the web app — try another browser or download the file instead of playing it on the page.
